There is something so magical about little girls. They just radiate a kind of joy and happiness from within. So beautiful. Last night was the annual "Daddy and Daughter Dance" at my daughter's elementary school. As I watched my daughter pick out what she wanted to wear and slip on her favorite red glitter shoes, I couldn't help but notice how confident and free she is about just being herself. She sees beauty in everything. She knows she is beautiful. It is this inner grace, more than anything, that really makes her stunning to watch. I love being able to capture these moments through my camera lens. As I look at these pictures, I'm reminded that we all have this kind of beauty within us if we are willing to open up and be vulnerable enough to show the world who God made us to be. Where are your glitter shoes? I say we put them on and face the world knowing we are beautiful inside and out. It's only by celebrating our own beauty that we can teach our daughters to do the same.
